I was impressed by this property. The staff was superb. There are 4 restaurants onsite. Many locals come and dine here. All in the details....and this hotel has lots of them. Extremely comfortable room. I enjoyed this IC property over the one in Santiago, Chile....much better. Excellent value and very inexpensive. I will be staying there again.

This is by no means a 4 star hotel in many countries but in El Salvador your options for a comfortable business hotel are limited. I was fine with the Intercon. Could not beat the price. The hotel is modern, and the service is extraordinary at all levels. Clearly they have trained the staff very well and they take pride at the quality of the service. The problem is the room. It smells, the pillows don't seem to be very clean.

This was our second visit to San Salvador, staying at the InterContinental Hotels Real San Salvador. Their staff is very friendly and helpful (and mostly bi-lingual)! Rooms are very comfortable! Stayed here in early March 2013. for 5 nights San Salvador is not the safest city in the world. So in looking for hotel security was a priority.
