The location is really great though Andreevskiy descent is under reconstruction now. The hotel is really nice and has very good design. But the rooms are comparatively small. Breakfast is very nice but not very wide in selection of dishes. More

We chose the hotel on the basis of Trip Advisor reviews.... we didn't want a monolithic business hotel, and the Vozdvyzhensky offered something different in a fascinating part of the town. We enjoyed our stay a lot. The room was small and it wasn't perfect (the shower didn't really deliver much in the way of hot water), but the hotel... More

My husband and I stayed at this hotel during our recent trip to Kiev. I am actually Ukrainian and speak the language fluently, but even so our experience at this hotel was not positive. Apart from the fact that they greatly overcharge you for a hotel transfer (but this is the same all over Ukraine and Russia if you book... More

The hotel is in a quiet area, close to downtown. It is easy to get to St. Andrew's Church, St. Michael's church, St. Sophia Cathedral. Advantages - proximity to downtown, good interior room and a restaurant, polite staff, the atmosphere of old Kiev early 20 th century. Disadvantages - poor breakfast, hotel site does not contain detailed location map, small... More

A very pleasant, boutique hotel in the best possible location in town. Afternoon tea or dinner in the garden at the back of the hotel is just perfect after the hustle and bustle in town. More

There is no question about one thing. The location of this hotel is fantastic and will give you a completely different experience of the city from just about anywhere else. This is perfect, if like me your stay will be short. Just down the historic St. Andrews hill, between the Rastrelli designed church (under repair at Nov '10) and the... More

Close to St Andrew's church, this hotel suprised me in many ways. Although sceptical upfront, booked from Prague and needing pre-payment to book, staff is very friendly, breakfast great, and the longer I am here - the more I like it. I am impressed by the restaurant, although looking a bit 'faux', the food quality is good. The salmon in... More

Hotel has super nice and calm location, but service is really terrible. In the hotel, in the restaurant, everywhere. Looks and feels like you are still in the Soviet Union. And waiters and administration give you a big favour to give the service for what you pay a lot. More

The main fascination of the hotel is its location - in the very centre of Kiev, in a quiet Andreevsky Uzviz and a few steps from Bulgakov's house museum - it is rather calm and cozy. The staff at the reception are polite, friendly and ready to help. The interior is very elegant and stylish. There were not many guests... More
