First of all, this is a very pricey hotel. So you cannot expect too much. It’s a bit shabby, oldfashioned and things need to be fixed. But staff is very friendly and wifi (free) works perfect. Take a room to the backside! I can give only one star because the hotel was renovated. Craftsmen were starting early in the morning,... More

A group of eight of us stayed at the Ambasador in March for three nights on a lads weekend away. We chose the hotel for its position and reasonable prices, and got exactly what we wanted. The hotel is in an excellent location for tourists, the rooms were clean and reasonably well decorated /furnished with comfortable beds and a good... More

The hotel is fine. The rooms are very hot and the heater cannot be turn off. I asked several times if they accepted American Express, they said " of course" but at the time of checking out, the machine did not work. The man in the fornt desk wanted me to go out and look for money at 5 am.... More

Can't say it's the newest hotel in the city, but I had a good three nights stay. Nice about it: location, friendly staff, cleanness, very good Wi-fi connection Not so great: noisy street rooms, crowded parking but safe. Would recommend.

The hotel's quality is regular, nothing special, but clean and with a professional service. The best about this hotel is its location right in the heart of downtown Bucharest, close to Lipscani area (the party sector) and many tourist attractions. One of my favorite restaurants- "La Mama" is almost across the street, so are the cinemas, museums and the subway.

Stayed here for a night prior to commencing an adventure in Romania with my family. All the taxi drivers know where it is and it is not too much from the airport, sorry i cant remember what i paid. The hotel was very good value for money, lovely and warm inside - we were there in the crazy snow and... More

Hotel was clean, but basic and breakfast was full of choice. Staff very helpful and attentive. Room overlooking road meant for lots of noise at night but this is Bucharest. 10-15 minute walk into centre, lots of amenities nearby. Wifi in rooms doesn't work, this is only complaint. Good location for short break.
