“Pleasant hotel next to metro, tram and bus stops”

We spent a long weekend exploring Budapest and this was a convenient base. There's nothing very special about the hotel but it's very cheap and perfectly OK. There's free wireless internet available throughout (and it's fast; speedtest.net gave me a figure of 30Mbit/s for both upload and download - far better than I get in London!) If you like to... More

I was in that hotel for 2 whole months. The first impression was: Oh, nice. The room is good, clean and the people ok. Very bad assumption!!! It might look ok but after the first week you are hit by its true value! As someone else said, the breakfast is... OMG! Do not eat that! The cleaning ladies really get... More

This hotel is OK for a night or 2 but head over the road for breakfast. They offer whatever tea they can find, packaged croissant that is about 2 weeks past due, stale bread all provided in a little basket. The room however is quite comfortable with reasonable wireless.
