I tink they have improved since some of the earlier reviews. My room was fine, with nice new bathroom etc. Good buffet breakfast. Handy location. No complaints. I had expected much more basic for Moldova, which is not a rich country. More

Stayed at the Dacia for 1 night in Oct 09. The hotel is a bit dated and the room was very basic although clean. The breakfast was really poor though and the hotel is really not a four star. However, for one night it was acceptable. More

The Dacia is a throw back from the old Soviet regime and is one of the last State owned hotels in Moldova. Unfortunately, the Dacia and its staff have not yet made the transition to a modern customer based standard. There are guards on every floor and my room was searched on several occasions.
