Location: Out of the center of Sofia downtown. Located in what seems like a relatively new business park. Taxi and bus accessible, though beware that for the bus (found behind the cinema) it takes sometime to get to somewhere near downtown but still requires about 10 mins by foot to the city center. Decent hotel away from city crowd, yet only a few minutes drive from central business area. Proximity to the airport is another added advantage. Room rates are lower than comparable hotels in the city, but the biggest drawback is internet access is neither free nor fast. This is a great hotel in the fast developing business district (still a little quiet when we were there) the quality of the hotel was excellent, the swimming pool has panoramic views and you can relax whilst looking up at the mountains. Restaurant was good and all the best of Holiday Inn more

This is a modern hotel situated in a new Business Park area at the edge of the city. The rooms are well equipped and comfortable. My only issue is with the air conditioning/heating: guests cannot turn it off - the best I could do was to change the fan setting from Auto to minimum. The staff were all exceptionally helpful... more
