This hotel shows ifs value as soon as you step through the door. We were welcomed with beverages of our choice while we were being checked in. The room was large, clean and comfortable. There are nice common rooms where you can sit ard read a book in a plush leather chair while enjoying a drink from their bar. The...

Great location on a quiet street, but still very close to the old town and the pedestrian street. The service was truly amazing, we were always taken good care of. The tips that the staff gave us concerning restaurants and sights turned out to be magnificent, we would never have found some of the places without their advice. There aren't...

I have just stayed here for three nights (on a business trip) and found the hotel experience totally unique to the conventional branded hotels. The accomodation was clean and the top floor room I stayed in was massive. The hotel has a unique character, its quiet, has friendly staff and it feels safe.
Although in the town, the location is...

Great Hotel Tucked into the Hillside nearby the old quarter of Sarajevo. Fabulous property loaded with antiques and apparently a favorite of Hollywood types who come here for the film festival. We had a beautiful suite at was so spacious ( we were upgraded) you could have got lost in it. The room is nicely furnished with antiques and is...

Funky looking from outside, a lobby that looks like a classic government office, large wood-finished rooms with all amenties one could ask for, and hotel staff that gave us one good recommendation after another. We stayed at Michele for our two nights in Sarajevo and loved our time there. The staff gave us two great restaurant recommendations (Kibe and Dveri,...

If you are an anti smoker to the core, cancel your trip to Bosnia and save yourself tons of aggravation if you like windging about tobacco smell but you will miss the opportunity to discover a wonderful country. Now back to the hotel, the breakfast room is smoke free and everywhere else is fair game. I always choose boutique hotel...

I stayed at Hotel Michele in September 2011. The location is excellent -- a short walk from the city center, but far enough away from all of the boisterous noise of Sarajevo's sidewalk cafes. The rooms are very large and interestingly furnished. Breakfast is a delicious and filling start to the day -- the cook makes omelets in record time....

I really enjoyed my stay at Hotel Michele. The management and staff were very friendly and hospitable. They helped arrange transportation to and from the hotel and went out of their way to be gracious hosts. The Hotel is in a quiet neighborhood but centrally located. The breakfasts were tasty and generous, and the rooms were comfortable and spacious. I...

Don't think normal hotel-room sizes here. Our room was enormous and idiosyncratically furnished. THe bath room was out of the 1960's but functional. Breakfast is something else with a huge array of choice - all served in a dining room reminiscent of 18th centure France.
The only potential drawback is parking. The hotel is in a warren of narrow one-way...
