After spending whole morning looking for an affordable double room, only Sartour Hostel could offer us standard double room with ensuite bathroom for 12 euros pp. Owners were fantastic inviting us to have a morning coffee with them every day giving us exciting insights in past of this wonderful city. While in Belgrade my friend and I decided to head to Sarajevo on short notice. The first and last place we tried booking was Sartour Hostel. The location was stunning with sweeping views of Sarajevo. the owners are very unfriendly and aggressive. they are racists, didn't let a black girl sleep there and made a chinese girl cry by insulting her verbally. they are very strict about their sleeping hours but shouting loud in the night themselves. Don't stay there! more

A really good place to stay, run by a helpful, friendly family. Situated in the Old Town (the Turkish part) our room had a lovely view overlooking the city. They even helped to arrange accomodation for us in Mostar. Definately would recommend it. more
