The hotel is quite basic. It boasts a swimming pool on it's website - but is not in use at the moment. Worth checking if that is important to you.

Reasonably clean rooms, breakfast OK - but they need to clear tables when guests have finished. We had a family room - which was a supersize with a double and two full size single beds - ideal for a family travelling with teenagers. 90 euros per night.

Receptionist very friendly and helpful - didn't expect us to turn up as a lot of previous people had booked and not shown. You don't need to take a taxi to the old town. Five minutes walk to a tram which takes you in very cheaply.

The hotel is not in a picturesque area - but if you just want somewhere to sleep that does not matter. The hotel won't win any awards but it was half the price of well known hotel chains. Don't expect too much and you won't be disappointed.
