Hotel Safir was in a great location. We were able to get into the heart of town in just a few steps. The staff was very friendly in giving us suggetions of local restaurants to try out. From St. Louis MO USA More

If you are arriving from the train station, take tram #1 and stop at the famous monument at Basarjica, walk upwards towards Safir Hotel. It is very well located in the old city, there are restaurants everywhere you turn. Because it was the low season, we were probably the only ones staying there, so we got a better room with... More

Hotel Safir is an excellent choice: the staff is very helpful, each room is air conditioned and laundry is included in the room price. It is centrally located, in a quaint street, and close to a local bakery. More

I really wanted to like this hotel, which is very well located steps from Pigeon Square, and has really excellent, friendly staff. But the most important function of a hotel is to provide a good night's sleep, and I had the worst nights here of anywhere on this trip (two months and counting) aside from Rila monastery. There was a... More

A brand-new beautiful little hotel next door to Sarajevo's old town with secure parking in an elevator-operated parking garage next door. Our room was wonderful with air-con, a small kitchen and some English TV. The staff were very helpful and the breakfast included eggs cooked to order. The hotel is somewhat difficult to find, ESPECIALLY since the one and only... More

Just back from a week's stay at this hotel and I'm really surprised it is only two-star, I've stayed in far worse four-star ones. The location is just metres away from the Old Town with all its attractions and tram stop. The staff were friendly and helpful and the room rate of 82 Euros per night for a double INCLUDED... More

This small hotel is situated in a very quiet back street close to the old town of Sarajevo. All the interesting sights are within an easy walk, some only 2 minutes away. We were given a most friendly welcome and even given a room upgrade, but we were not sure why we were upgraded! The room was a good size... More

Stayed here for four nights in August with my family and had two rooms. The location is great - two minutes walk from old town and in a small, quiet alley which made for a peaceful nights sleep. The staff are super friendly and always smiling. The rooms were bright and clean and had everything that you could need -... More
