The ceiling of room 116 had no patches of mould and there was no smell of alcohol or smoke in the room on the day of my inspection. In actual room 116 is a smoking room.

It is normal practice not to place any damaged linen in the rooms and unfortunately on this occasion a torn bathmat was placed in the room by mistake. Any damaged items have now been removed from our hotel stock, so that this unfortunate incident will not take place again....
