After a glorious week on the outer islands, Beachside Resort was a rude shock to the system. The Kiwi owners were in a world of their own and were not welcoming at all. Never stay at this hotel. You had to pay a dollar for them to call you a taxi, dogs and chickens woke us up all night and the owners were incredibly rude...did not welcome us or speak to us. None of the taxi drivers at the airport knew where the hotel was because it was so far away and hidden. When we got there, we were greeted by several vicious dogs which belonged to the hotel and roamed free. Our hotel room was uncomfortable, unclean, and filled with insects.
