We had a lovely stay at Casa Sarandi. Karen is a charming hostess. The guesthouse is very lovely and comfortable. It is spotless and full of wonderful natural light. The kitchen is well equipped and we used it constantly. It is very centrally located with lovely restaurants nearby. We woudln't hesitate to stay here again.

This guest house is an excelent option if you want to know the main atractions at Montevideo. Besides the excellent location (nearby everything, specially ciudad vieja), the owners Sérgio and Karen are very gentle and carefull with guests, giving tips about attractions and places to go, also helping with anything we needed. Casa Sarandi became "My home at Montevideo".

We stood in Casa Sarandi for 4 nights and it was wonderful. The guesthouse is located in the old center of Montevideo which has a special atmosphere that you shouldn't miss. You can walk from here to all the beautiful attractions and it is very easy to get to one of the amazing wineries that are very close to Montevideo.... More
