Las Chullpas is a sanctuary in the Sacred Valley. We stayed for 5 nights and really didn't want to leave; Leonie, Chalo and Silvia have created and continue to foster a special place in the world. The rooms are more than comfortable (we stayed in Madre Salve) and the food was beyond amazing. The grounds are quiet and peaceful for... More

We stayed in Los Chullpas three nights End of August and it was a great place to relax during a backpacking holiday. The rooms are very individual and lovely equipment, full with natural materials. The garden offers a lot of places to relax with walking ducks, tabletennis and hanging chairs. The owner and his staff is very friendly and organised... More

We stayed in Las Chullpas in mid November. The cabins are quite nicely appointed, each with an eclectic style of its own. We certainly needed a fire every night. Chalo arranged for a great taxi from Cusco via Mario, who is a professional cusqueño with a new Yaris -- unlike the standard fare for Peruvian taxi service. The grounds are... More

We stayed here for five nights - the best five nights of our trip! Our room was really nice and beautifully decorated with thick covers on the bed (not the most common in Peru) and a fantastic fireplace. I was quite ill when I came and a bit overwhelmed and really needed some peace and quiet - this was definitely... More

We stayed at Las Chullpas for 2 nights. The owner, Chalo, arranged for a taxi to pick us up from the airport without any problems. We arrived and were greeted warmly by staff. We enjoyed the unique rooms (although a little chilly at night), lush grounds with hammocks, and above all the service. We ate dinner both nights at Las... More

Michael Montreal, Canada Visited in July 2011 “Great Place to stay, great hiking tour!” We stayed there for only 1 night. What a mistake not to have booked a return here after our trek. Our room was a work of art! Our dinner was exceptionally fine. The buildings and grounds all wonderfully integrated with the natural surroundings of the Sacred... More

So much to see in Peru; it's easy to exausted before you realize it. Good shape but over 60. Las Chullpas is an excellant guest house to recharge at. It's definitely off the beaten path (5 minutes out of Urubamba and 10 minutes off main road to Guest House by taxi). Have your taxi driver call Las Chullpas for directions.... More

Our family of four loved staying at Las Chullpas during our stay in the sacred valley. Our room had 4 comfortable beds with thick warm llama blankets and a fireplace that we enjoying using. The property was quiet, sweet and pretty. The innkeeper is wonderful and worked with us to get the room type and dates we needed. The staff... More

The lodge is really charming set next to open space. The inn keeper and staff are simply delightful and so helpful with very good English. They recommended great places to see and great places to eat and you could tell they really wanted us to have a good time. One place they recommended, the most high end place in urubamba,... More

What a find this was. Amazing food, comfortable rooms with unique touches, fireplaces, a quiet spot outside town, and wonderful recommendations from the staff about what to do in the area. We went on several hikes not in any guide book. This is the place to stay. And a great central location for all the sacred valley sites. More
