Great place to stay and relax, far away from noise and crowds. Food is OK but colud have a larger menu. Not so many options, but those offered were good. Service and personnel very appropiate. More

We stayed in this hotel after spending a couple of days in Machu Picchu. It is a beautiful old monastery that sits within the mountains. It has impeccable gardens and the rooms were great. We were here for two nights and it was a great/peaceful place to rest. The onsite restaurant was wonderful offering many local flavors. The breakfast is... More

Very quiet setting up a slight hillside off the main Sacred Valley road. Too far to walk into the town and no street lighting after dark made it downright dangerous. Unique rooms in the main part of the old monastery are 2 levels with the beds in a 2nd story loft area. First floor had a small seating area, table... More

This beautiful old monastery hotel was nice and quiet and we slept very well. It is a 10-15 minute walk into Urubamba. Our room was comfortable. Their breakfast buffet was extensive, they had a toaster available and served over easy eggs. Good selection of breads and fruits. I would have enjoyed spending more time at this hote lbut we were... I stayed here for only one night during my 15 days in Peru. It is an amazing old monastery located in a gorgeous setting with a lot of history, the staff was exceedingly friendly, my room was beautiful and the food was wonderful. Nothing negative at all. The sweet young lady at the front desk helped me find find my... More

Think we paid way too much for this place as it did not meet expectations. We paid $188 for a suite which was not clean, hairs were all over the bed sheets and in the bathroom pretty off-putting for what we were hoping would be a romantic getaway. The mini bar had two items in the fridge. It is an... More

We really wanted to stay at this hotel and were very excited to be there. The grounds are enchanting, the buildings filled with character and the staff was very friendly. The breakfast was quite good and we enjoyed our time there very much. That said, the room was a little bit disappointing, given how beautiful the monastery is overall--because it... More

Conversion from a Monastery to a Hotel. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The restaurant attached was very good. The only complaint I have is that there were no curtains on the shower. This resulted in very wet bathrooms. The staff was excellent. More

Many travellers to the Sacred Valley of Peru are probably here for the same reason I was - to visit and learn about the sacred sites of Peru. This converted Monastry to Boutique hotel was a perfect resting place after a long day of travel. Not only rustic, elegant and beautiful, but the rooms are "restful" with bedding that is... More

This hotel used to be a monastery so you should go in expecting an older more basic feel. Architecturally the hotel is very nice, with a picturesque courtyard and an authentic feel. Our room was large, but the bathroom was small. The bed was gigantic, but was actually two full size beds stuck together with a small gap in the... More
