My Fam and I, stayed 2 days, in this hotel. due to bad weather conditions, there was no power or water in town, but the hotel had their own water supply and generator. This hotel is in a perfect location, close to train station, which was great because we were able to get our tickets on time to get to... More

This hotel was booked for us by our travel agency for one night. Via the trip advisor we have read that we should ask a room on a upper floor, what we really did and we also received at reception by a friendly young man. The place of the hotel was very convenient and it was very quiet in the... More

After the busy, narrow streets of the village the garden is a small oasis. OK, the rooms may not be the most modern and luxurious but they are perfectly adequate. No problems with hot water. Breakfast was basic but served with a smile, which goes a long way. Only stayed for one night but would have been happy to spend... More

We only stayed one night on our way to the Inka Trail. It was a lovely simple room, but if you stay make sure they know what time you'd like breakfast. We were a bit disappointed because at 8:00 am there was still no sign of any person or breakfast even though it was supposed to be included.

This is one of the only places on our three week trip where we staying for two nights and we were looking forward to chilling out in a nice hotel... But, alas, what a disappointment! The room and bathroom were small and being on the ground floor made me nervous. Very basic and sparse furniture, made worse by the fact... More

Stayed here the day we finished the Inca Trail. It is fairly run down, but it has a nice little courtyard, the beds are clean and comfortable. The Internet is slower than I thought ever were possible. Just the fact that it was nice beds, hot shower, and clean the day we finished the Inca Trail, made it a great... More

We stayed in this hotel for 1 night before going on the Inca trail and when we arrived we were checked in to a grubby room with tiny windows with a door that didn't lock properly (1st floor - turn left and it was the far room on the right hand side). We requested that we be placed in a... More

This is a nice little hotel conveniently situated on the road to the train that goes to Machu Picchu. It is built around a garden so the street noises don't make it to the rooms and the garden provides a lovely place to relax. It is across the street from the creek and has views of the ruins at Ollantaytambo... More

We travelled for 2 weeks in Peru, and this was our best value - even had hot water in the private bath/shower but not until the morning! Only $35 for the night, including a continental breakfast, quiet courtyard, river lined in flowers across the street out front, easy walk to the ruins and around Ollantaytambo (loved this little town!). The... More

Hotel Las Orquideas is a fabulous place to stay. The rooms are comfortable and cleaned daily with fresh towels. The garden is lovely, and a welcome place to relax in the sun. We travelled with our 2 kids aged 8 and 6, and it is very easy to be there. Eva, Romulo and Gloria are all so friendly and helpful.... More
