This hotel was so cute. I wouldn't say the room was spacious, however it was adequate for the overnight stay that we had. We were taking the train the next morning to Machu Picchu. The service was outstanding. When we were getting ready to leave in the morning, the walk to the station was short, but we were pulling our... More

This hotel was conveniently located in Ollantaytambo within walking distance of the ruins and also the train station. It was well designed and out of the way yet maintained high quality service and great food in the restaurant. Our room was very comfortable and spacious. Our time here was too short and we could easily have added a day to... More

I highly recommend spending the night in Ollay and taking the early train to Macchu Pichu. Hotel Pakaritampu is a lovely little hotel only a few minutes walk from the train station and the center of town. Friendly, helpful staff, small but beautifully landscaped grounds and rustic rooms. A pleasant stay with a great breakfast!

Clean room, comfy bed. Property is well kept and location is perfect for those continuing on to Machu Picchu by train (3 min walk from hotel). Breakfast spread was delicious. I would stay here again if/when I come back to Ollantaytambo!

Contrary to some of the negative reviews we read, we are really enjoying our stay at the Pakaritampu. The hotel is a cluster of individual buildings with about 6 rooms per building. We're on the second floor but the porter took all our bags up the stairs so it wasn't a problem. The grounds are gorgeous - filled with beautiful... More

We stayed at Hotel Pakaritampu for two nights before beginning the Inca Trail. In fact, I dreamed of the amazing shower/water pressure in our hotel bathroom each when I was on the Inca Trail. The grounds are absolutely GORGEOUS. Completely breathtaking. The staff here do an impeccable job of maintaining the property. Our room was big, clean, and had amazing... More

I thought that this was the best hotel I stayed in in Peru. It was in the most beautiful surroundings, the best were comfortable and there were extra blankets for when the temperature dropped in the evening. After dinner, we sat by the log fire reading - just perfect.

Hotel Pakaritampu's grounds are well maintained and have beautiful flower plantings. When you walk behind the gate you enter a relaxing, comfortable area where you can enjoy the evening after a long day of sight seeing. The rooms are large and our breakfast was great. There is a restaurant and bar area to relax. The staff are accomodating and kind.

We stayed at Pakaritampu in March 2013. It is a very cozy hotel with amazing views of the mountains and all the beauty of the valley. The landscaping and gardens of the hotel are beautiful with flowers everywhere and andenes. When we go back we will plan a longer stay on the valley. Breakfast was good and people were helpful....
