We stayed two nights in this place on our way to Machu Picchu and really enjoyed the the large room with a comfortable bed and nice panoramic view. Also the garden is kind of an oasis in the ancient old-town of Ollantaytambo. We really appreciated the kindness of Jorge, our host, who served us perfectly and helped us, when we didn't feel so well on one day.

This was a great spot for a night in Ollantaytambo. My train got in after dark and I was able to take a tuk-tuk to the hostel for super cheap. It was a quick (but very bumpy) ride through the cobblestone. There was a bit of a language barrier, but we resolved it relatively quickly and I was escorted to my room that almost felt more like a cabin than a hostel/hotel, which was very cool! The nights are cold and the many blankets provided actually kept me very warm while I slept. They stored my bags for me for most of the day when I checked out and let me use the kitchen area to do a little work in the afternoon. Very accommodating and an easy walk to the square and the ruins.

We stayed a total of 3 nights (2 before and 1 after trip to Machu Pichu). This is a nice locally owned hotel which is within 3 minutes of walk to the Main Square. The room was nicely furnished and quiet. The breakfast in the morning was good. Mauricio and Jorge were very friendly and helpful. They arranged for transportation from and to Cuzco Airport. They planned sights for us to see on the way both times. It was very good. If you access the place from Main road (if you get dropped by Taxi or 3 wheeler) there are steep steps to climb. However you can walk to the main square through the back stone road (no vehicles allowed). We enjoy staying at locally owned hotels when we travel abroad and This place did not disappoint. Highly Recommend

I had a very peaceful stay. Loved the location super close to the ruins. Could hear the soothing sounds of water as I was sleeping. Great value for money. Breakfast super nice as well. Jorge and Mauricio went out of their way to tell me about local activities. Will definitely stay again!

We stayed in this Hostal one night right after finishing the Inca trail. This is a great place it stay if you visited Ollantaytambo. Warm hospitality, clean room and friendly host. When I asked brush to clean my shoes, host undoubtedly provided help. Their breakfast is simple but tasty. The Hostal is located right in front of the Ollantaytambo archeological site, so you sit in its garden and enjoy the view!

The owner was so nice, spoke fluent English and gave us amazing recommendations on hikes in the area. Every morning we woke to an amazing archaeological vista overlooking us. A truly special place. Also note that it's not a "hostel" but a hotel/lodging house.

It was a lovely B&B, friendly welcoming staff. We had a great view of the archaeological site from the bedroom window. For the price, good size room, comfy bed, room to store clothes. There was a minor issue with shower, but it was immediately resolved. As a bonus, they made us a packed breakfast to take on our excursion.
