This was a great hotel. It is pricey, but when it was raining at Machu Pichhu it was nice to have hotel there instaed of taking 30 min bus ride down mountain. The rooms wre nice. Food and drinks including alcoholic were free. The staff was very helpful. more

You can purchase your Machu Picchu entrance tickets the night prior to your visit at the hotel's front desk. They will have your tickets for you the next morning. We stayed here for one night and the first thing to stay is that the position of this hotel simply cannot be bettered. It is just 50 yards from the entrance to Machu Picchu and for that reason alone I would have to recommend it if you can afford to pay the exhorbitant price. This is the only place to stay if you are visiting Machu Picchu. The rooms are not large but they have everything you could want...very comfortable beds and linens, all the amenitites!!! And the staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful !! Plus the food in the restaurant was excellent. And you are right at the site. more
