We spent 2 nights here during our visit to Machu Picchu. The food was good, the shower had great pressure and the toiletries were fantastic. It was just what we needed after a day on Machu Picchu, and has a great view of the river. More

We spent the night here after doing our Machu Picchu visit. We were dropped off with about an hour of light left and the room we had was beautiful, with a large balcony over looking the Urubamba river surrounded by mountains on all sides. Great food, good service, comfortable room, free Pisco Sour on arrival. The closest hotel to the trail if you are climbing up the mountain. On the Urubamba River. Also close to the buses. Of course, all of Aquas Calientes is within walking distance as well. More

Hatuchay tower is ugly, badly located, to use the frigo bar you have to pay usd 20,00, employees have no idea of what to do. What else? Really hated it. More

This is a clean, comfortable, pleasant hotel in Aguas Calientes, just down the mountain from Machu Picchu. It is a short walk to the shops and restaurants of Aguas Calientes (which is a tiny town in any case, but very nice for tourists). Stayed here with a large group of family and friends. The service was very good. Hotel porters pick up the luggage from the train station and meet you later at the hotel. Couldn't wait to leave this hotel. From the moment we arrived the staff were unhelpful and rude. The room was noisy and very damp because of poor glazing, and the location of this hotel next to rapids. Imagine in mosquito season this could be an issue. The food was the worst we experienced in South America. More
