This family-run B&B is in Barranca, an old residential part of Lima, and is a good place to stay because it is spotlessly clean, the rooms are large, the breakfast is delicious, they provide info and ideas about what to see and do, and they are all very kind and helpful. It is a quiet haven compared with the noisy... More

We stayed at Aquisito several times, as a base for travels around Peru. It is good value accommodation, in a nice part of Lima, close to busses, shopping, galleries, restaurants and grocery stores, and has a pleasant homey feel. Lima is a noisy place, but in the grand scheme of things Aquisito is fairly quiet, but try for a room... More

I spent three nights in Aquisito. It is a quiet place, located in fairly quiet neighborhood, about two blocks from busy-traffic street. I had hard time finding the place (It has no sign but only a small house number ... on a street with strange building number system.....) There are few decent restaurants within short walk distance. The lovely ladies... More

This place is amazing! It's in a quiet area of the city, close to nice restaurants, lovely ocean views. The woman who runs it speaks English, and was extremely helpful in planning some sightseeing in Lima. She sent us to an excellent restaurant that was non-touristy, with amazing ceviche! The rooms are super clean, and have reliable hot water. There... More

I stayed for one night with my family in Aquisito. The place is located near a noisy street. There are nice wood floors. The price was affordable, but they charged us for my daughter 7 as if she were an adult. The bathroom smelled moldy and the sink did not drain, the breakfast was tasteless margarine, white bread and jam... More

Great little B&B! Five star service for the price of a hostel. Rooms are really clean and spacious, comfy beds which are made everyday, fresh towels everyday, includes continental breakfast, good location in more mellow Barranco neighborhood. The owner, Malisa, is really sweet and treated us like family! She insisted on reserving a hostel for us at our next destination... More

The host, Marlisa is a great person who does everything to make you feel at home. She'll introduce you to other guests at breakfast and help you along with great information. The rooms are big and clean, though not with airconditioning, but no way you can find that at this price. Located in the cool district of Barranco. We only... More

I was really looking forward to our night here as the Lonely Planet guidebook called it "immaculately clean." First, you need to wait a half hour for the water to heat up; however, after waiting 30 minutes I only had about 3 minutes of lukewarm water. Next, I was excited to sleep in an "immaculately clean" bed but when I... More
