Decent hotel. Bathrooms are very basic. Rooms are basic. Wasn't too expensive, although I think better is out there for the price. There are three of them in Lima. Good locations. more

Thankfully, we only stayed at The Flying Dog for one night before we returned to the UK. It is the worst hotel we've ever stayed in. We arrived in Lima from Cusco exhausted after treking there and this was the first place that we came across in Miraflores and because we were so tired we decided that it would do.... more

This was our first encounter with backpackers hostels in Peru. Stayed there just after we landed and enjoyed the place. In the first night got a noisy, street-facing room which was change the following day. The room was large. The facilities were fine and the staff friendly. The location was also convienient. more

I stayed at the Flying Dog B&B in Lima one night and had the most miserable travel day back to the US afterwards. The bed was infested with bed bugs, which I didn't confirm until I returned to the US. I had killed one as it was crawling on me and never thought they were that big. I thought I... more

We stayed in the Flying Dog Hostel for two nights. One night we spent in a private room with shared bath. The private room was pretty soulless and not very well kept but it worked out almost as cheap as paying for two people to stay in a dormitory. The shared bathroom facilities were adequate e nough. Our second night... more

We had been staying in hostels throughout South America and this was by far the worst. We booked a private room with an ensuite. While the room had internet, the whole place had a grimy feeling to it. The beds didn't seem to clean and it was all very dated. We arrived early in the morning on a bus from... more

besides its great location, everything else is mediocre: toilets are cramped and not too clean, hot shower is unreliable, pretty noisy late into the night (even at 2am staff and friends talk loudly), beds are decent and not squishy. when we were leaving for the airport this morning at 5am, a group of backpackers were entering the hostel with hookers. more

The doors and windows here are poorly secured. Our private room was robbed our second night while we were out for dinner. The staff was very sympathetic and even comped the rest of our stay there, but a small consolation for lost cash, cameras, and time. The main door to the complex is secure, which means the robber was either... more

I arrived in Miraflores Lima with a reservation at the Euro Backpackers Hostel. It was vile. Bugs, rooms with a window so high they gave no light, but big enough for someone to climb in and there was nowhere to lock your stuff, etc. It was the size of a closet. Oh, and they FORGOT to collect me from the... more

There are 4 flying dog hostels in the Miraflores area. This review is for the one next to the Diagonal on Rua Olaya. The location is great, right next to Parque Kennedy and Parque Central in Miraflores. So you have to bear in mind that it's busy and you'll be woken up in the early morning by traffic. Breakfast is... more
