LOCATION: The hotel is in a corner between two very busy streets, which is probably bad for noise-sensitive people. Location was good for doing business, but it was far from the beach and Miraflores where most of the good restaurants are (I tried "Brujas de Cachiche" which was fantastic!). Yes, you can go back and forth with a taxi, but... More

I love the Melia hotels and made a reservation at this hotel when traveling to Lima for the wedding of a good friend. This hotel is nice, but less luxurious than others where I stayed (Mexico City and Buenos Aires, for example). Cordial customer service, very polite personnel. Was disappointed with my first visit to the restaurant; service very slow,... More

Ok, so it's not THE BEST location, and their amenities are not top notch. But for a secure, clean, international hotel I thought the price was good (US$160/night - other very nice hotels are much much higher!!). If you found a reliable taxi driver I don't think it would be cost-prohibitive to be driven back and forth to Miraflores. I... More

We stayed here for one night before our Cuzco trip and two nights after. The 1st stay, we were offered and took an upgrade from our Junior Deluxe Suite to the Junior Deluxe Room (Level Floors) for $30 (which included internet in the room, cocktail hour & breakfast). Considering breakfast was $13 @ and internet was $12, it made sense... More

Stayed in this hotel at the onset and return of the Cuzco leg for Machu Pichu. On the way in, with a tour group, the room was spacious and clean but on the front entrance and noisy. I asked for a quiter room upon my return and was graciously allocated a beautiful suite for a two night stay. Room service... More

I booked a package to Peru and the hotel at Lima was Melia. The hotel is OK! Just OK, but the location is not good at all. It's close to nothing. Best location in Lima is Miraflores, either close to Largomar or to the indian market More

We absolutely loved this hotel. We stayed here twice, at the beginning and end of our tour to Machu Picchu and cannot say enough about it. The staff are friendly and very helpful. Rooms are excellent and very well cared for. The breakfast buffet is extensive with lots of choice and food excellent. The restaurant is excellent any time. Handy... More

We've been "living" in Lima from Feb to May 2011 and our home was Melia Lima. The hotel location at San Isidro is very good near restaurants, markets, squares... the place was a little bit noisy due to the Lima's caothic traffic. The staff is very kind and the concierge is always helpful, specially Martin that helped us in many... More

Stayed there a couple nights as part of a tour. It met all our expectations, not super fancy but nice clean rooms, comfy beds and all the basic amenities. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Exchange rates at the front desk were a bit less favorable than the airport but the convenience made up for any minor difference. Great breakfast... More

After a very long flight I made it to the Melia Hotel only to find out I had no room. I was told some people staying there had a flight canceled so they were staying longer. I made my reservation 4 weeks in advance. They changed my reservation to a different less quality hotel and I had to pay the... More
