We stayed at Muyuna for 4 days and 3 nights. We warmly recommend the lodge. Getting there took 3 hours by a fast boat from Iquitos. The lodge was in the middle of nowhere, which in our opinion was great. You could see animals all around and not many people. There were lots of activities. On the 2 full days... More

After a strenuous 8day trek in the Andies, it was a treat to spend 6days at Muyuna Lodge. The accommodations were adequate and the food was excellent. Some of the food came from a nearby jungle village. Boris, Muyuna's manager, worked hard to make guest stays enjoyable and care free. the guides were absolutely terrific. I am still amazed how... Jazmin responded to all my emails very quickly, and answered all questions. I was deciding between this lodge and the amazonia expeditions. I decided on this one because I didnt want any internet or cell... More

While I was living in Cusco, Peru I made a trip to Iquitos as a friend had highly recommended the Muyuna lodge. I have stayed in other lodges in the area (I work in tourism) and have to say that for the price and the quality, Muyuna is the best deal all round. Excellent accommodations, great and knowledgeable guides and... More

We planned an escape from the big city and bokked a short stay in the jungle. With a short mail we started our inquiry and ended up with lots of detailed information and some questions to answer. The office arranged our flight to Iqiutos, the transfer to the city office (where boots etc. can be rented) and the boat ride... More

We stayed 3 days, 2 nights - and had a fantastic trip. The location is deep within the jungle and we saw every kind of birds, animals, monkeys, sloth, tarantula, iguana etc-- Our guide Moises and Armando were exceptionally good. They could pick out birds and animals long before we could ! Moises was also fantastic at grabbing the Cayman... More
