We got to Golondrinas unwillingly: we wanted to go to another, much cheaper hostel, but for the first time in our lives got fooled by a taxi driver saying that "the place is closed". Nevertheless, in the end were even happy he did so: for 35 soles we got an incredibly nice private room and facilities and a swimming pool... More

Golondrinas in two words "SWIMMING POOL" yes it sound very superficial, but you must consider that Iquitos it's a really hot and humid, so a swimming pool it's a high light you will only find in big and expensive hotels; but Golondrinas it's a very simple hostel, the staff is friendly and helpful, the beds are alright, i arrived to... “Quiet and Swimmingpool!!”

I really enjoyed Iquitos in general, I love the heat and the weather and the people! And I also loved the hostal. I slept in the dormitory for 15 Soles per night. I could also use the kitchen with the fridge. Great! And the best thing was, they had a Swimmingpool! Really important in this heat;-) I could sleep prettty... More

A quiet hostel near the center of Iquitos, with a refreshing swimmingpool and a kitchen you can use. It´s clean and the staff is very nice. And besides that, it´s one of the cheapest hostels in Iquitos. I would also recommend to book a tour in this hostel into the jungle for a couple of days. Just stay in this... More
