Hotel Wiracocha is perfectly located, as it´s just a 5 minute walk from the main Plaza de Armes. We stayed here after completing our Inca Trail hike as we had read that the place was a little haven, and we certainly needed that! A bit of a mixed bag overall. The hotel itself is really nice, however our bathroom was... More

This hotel is in a great location (5 minutes from Plaza de Armas), but there were a few problems. The promised hot water NEVER materialised and other guests also found it erratic - maybe it works better in some rooms than others. The staff promised a heater because the room and outside temperature were cold but it never turned up,... More

This was by far the best place I stayed at during my entire trip to Peru; clean, affordable, hot showers. I'm surprised that it's only a "2-star" hotel. The staff was up at the crack of dawn (4:30 a.m.) with breakfast ready for those beginning their bus journey or hike up to Machu Picchu. The best part? Falling soundly asleep... More

Easy to contact and good communication. Our matrimonial room had a beautiful view. Great room with great hot water, clean toilet. We paid $55, which is a lot for Peru, but we didn't want to stay in a sketchy place, so it was great for us. Breakfast was ready at 5:00am, staff was helpful.

Stayed at Hotel Wiracocha at the beginning and end of a trip up the Inca trail to Machu Picchu with friends. Great location with a 5 minute walk to the main square, but the hotel is hard to find at first. The rooms are plenty large and the building is beautiful. They serves an excellent complimentary breakfast each morning and... More

We stayed at the Wiracocha for four nights in mid-August 2006. We paid US$35 for a room with double bed and private bathroom. The room was comfortable and clean, as well as warm, which is important in Cuzco! There was lots of hot water in the early morning--we had less luck later in the day. The staff were very helpful...
