While, at first site Q'Armenq'a is a nice hotel, centrally located and with a friendly staff, I left there feeling rather - for a lack of a better word, violated. If you do decide to stay in this hotel, beware of leaving anything at all of value in your room. I learned the hard way when I accidentally left my cell phone in a bag in the hotel room while traveling for the day in the Sacred Valley. It was well hidden in a pocket in one bag which was stuffed inside yet another bag. I shared the room with my parents and we all had luggage that was sorted through while we were away. Someone obviously went through great lengths to find what they were looking for. When I asked the staff about it I assumed they might be at least somewhat helpful. However, they were in complete denial over the incident and would not even ask other staff about it. While they had a chance to offer some consolation (maybe help write a police report) they did absolutely nothing to help. Of course I should have... more
