location is excellent about 5-10 mins walk from the central plaza des armas and from the san blas (square with artsy bars & cafes), though I wish there was a more prominent hotel sign especially at night to make it easy for taxis to find it. I checked in quite late and taxi went past it the first time and... More

A friend and I stayed here for 4 nights, the hotel was ideally located, the city is meant to be explored by walking to appreciate it, we enjoyed every twist turn and hill we come accross. The rooms and bathrooms were a reasonable size and clean, an excellent value for the money. Breakfast was included and was more than basics.... More

We booked a quad room for 4 days. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They even helped us find wonderful tours. It is centrally located just a few blocks from the main plaza. The room was comfortable, very clean and cozy. I look forward to our next stay!!.

I would definitely recommend this hotel. The staff are very pleasant and very helpful, and the location is very good: a 5 minute walk from the Plaza de Armas. I think the bed in my room was very comfortable, and there was a flat-screen TV with cable, and WIFI. Obviously this is not a luxury hotel, but nor does it... More

We booked a double room for 38$ per night, which for Cusco prices is mid-range. When we got to our room it was tiny, dingy and not entirely clean. We asked the receptionist if we could have another room and she let us in another, which seemed bigger. When we used the toilet though, we found that it was wobbly... More

Dear Guests: We are very sorry that you did not enjoy our facility. It is sad that we have to receive comments like this when my staff is telling me that they were trying to accommodate you and your husband to their best of their ability. Our hotel is very affordable for Cusco standards; sometimes I even tell my friends... More

We had the best service in this hotel!!! The staff are very helpful It is about 3 blocks from the Plaza de Armas. We stayed here for about 6 days. Breakfasts were good, but the eggs were always way too oily! Rooms were cozy. Sometimes the tv or heaters will not work due to electrical issues. Hotel is quiet.

Augusto and his staff arranged the perfect itinerary for my husband and I during our stay in Cuzco and Aguascalientes. Without a plan, visitors would simply be wasting time, not knowing, and missing out on many of the amazing places to visit and tour. We were only in the Cuzco area for 3 days and we accomplished so much due... More

Official Description (provided by the hotel):
We are a 20-room cozy boutique hotel in the historic center of Cusco, Peru. We are just a few steps from the Plaza de Armas (Main Square). Our mission is to make you feel relaxed with our personalized attention in an ambiance where your spirit can soar and make your visit unforgettable. This first step in visiting one of the 7 wonders of the new world will be exciting, and at the same time comfortable. We have different sized beds to fit your needs. They are all made up with luxury linens and very comfortable and soft pillows. Each of our rooms is equipped with a private bathroom and with thick thirsty towels for your convenience. Our decor emphasizes the best of both Spanish influences and indigenous Inca characteristics. On our walls you will see replicas of the Cusco school paintings with images of archangels, saints and Madonna’s that can be found in local churches, cathedrals and the palaces. These paintings are central to the atmosphere of comfort in our hotel. However, if you like one of these pieces you are more than welcome to purchase it and have it shipped anywhere you like. Our first welcoming gesture is our coca tea, which is available at no charge at any time while you are a guest in the hotel. This tea is very distinctive in our city and widely consumed to alleviate the altitude of our city. Cusco’s altitude is around 3,400 m (11,200 ft). Believe me… you will feel it. On your arrival, please have some tea, and then relax in your room for at least 2 hours. Please do nothing and just relax; this is very important for a better adjustment to the altitude. Your first meal should also be very light… Once you are settled, enjoy the most spectacular ride of your life! Our complimentary breakfast varies from day to day, but always features freshly baked pan serrano (bread). Our motto is "affordable luxury." ... more   less
