I recently returned from Cusco and stayed at this hotel for two out of the five nights. I was not all that satisfied with the not so friendly staff, the noisy unappealing rooms (dogs and people in the reception area creating most of the noise). After two nights, I ended up moving to the La Casa Escondida 100m up the...

I discovered this hostal when it was booked as part of my group tour to Machu Picchu. But for my extra time alone in Cusco, I extended my stay here as I enjoyed it so much. The breakfast area was very social and included eggs, bread, granolas, juices, daily. Also kitchen accessible for refrlg, microwave, cooking and eating dishes/utensils. Staff...

My fiancé and I just left Hostal Buena Vista and recommend it to anyone visiting Cusco. It’s hard to decide where to stay as Cusco seems to have more hotels/hostels than people, but this place is on a great, quiet street, near a ton of good restaurants and only about a 5 minute walk from the plaza. The owner and...

The breakfasts are great, eggs, yoghurt, tea/coffee and juice, also there is coffee on tap all the time. The beds are comfy and the rooms are big. There is a really nice lounge to...

This hostel is a wonderful find! The beds are comfy, the showers are very hot with great pressure and the breakfast includes made-to-order eggs and fruit/yogurt in addition to the standard bread, coffee and tea.
The owner is energetic and makes sure you have anything you need, and the staff are all quite helpful and trustworthy. There's a small garden...

It is a very nice hostal with amazing views from the room if you stay in room No 5 or 6. We stayed two times there. Very clean and friendly. Price is very fair for Cusco.

We had a very good experience at this hotel in June 2009. (It's called a hostal but it is a hotel, not a backpackers' inn.) The three of us (my husband, I and our son) stayed at the Hostal Buena Vista for several days before and after a trip to Mount Ausangate.
The owner renovated a several-hundred-year-old hacienda, which overlooks...
