This hotel is in a great location. It is really close to the central square and in easy walking distance of all the main sights. There are lots of shops nearby to get water, snacks etc and a supermarket about 200m away. It's in a beautiful old colonial building and felt nice and secure as you had to be buzzed... More

This hostal really has everything you need for an exceptional price. The rooms were clean, TV worked, buffet breakfast was delicious, and the owner was very friendly (and spoke english!). Not to mention that the lobby and breakfast area is in a super cool Spanish building from the colonial era (really beautiful!). Not many hotels/hostals can beat the location. Its... More

Picturesque hotel in excellent location. Just a short walk to the main square and across from a bank for easy money withdrawal. The entrance and the main dining room with the volcanic rock and read bricks looked superb. We had a room at the back which I think is the better choice, as we heard no noise from people walking.... We stayed here a few days on an extensive trip through Peru. The hotel is a very nice building that reminds me to an old spanish castle with beautiful Patio. Rooms are nice and clean and quiet, just be sure that you are not using the one(s) that are facing some disotheque. Breakfast ist OK and the staff is very... More

This was my least favourite place to stay on my tour. There was no heating in the room & no extra bedding. It was very cold. The sun didn't hit the room at all. Other rooms probably didn't have this issue if they got the sun in the day. The breakfast was uninspiring as well. However, the beds were fine... More

An atmospheric hotel, well-located for the main square, cathedral, shops and ´Juanita´museum. Built in the 18th century, the reception and dining areas retain many original features and are pleasant to chill out in. Rooms, however, are nothing special and soundproofing is poor but beds are very comfortable. Friendly, obliging staff and a speedy same-day laundry service.

Colonial style hostel with charm, helpful staff and a perfect location - make this one of the best hostels I have stayed in during my travels. The hostel is laid out perfectly, the rooms are away from the street noise and at the back of the hostel,so you have the lounging areas and dinning rooms towards the front. The staff... More

This is a family run business in a quaint old mansion right in the heart of Arequipa. Love the entrance, reception area and the breakfast room. The decor, the furnishings and details take you back to Spain hundreds of years ago. Our room was in a modern building and had twin doors which opened onto a small balcony with a... More

I booked this through Booking. Com and got a room for half price with a special deal so I was pleased. The hotel is stunning, an old stone building tucked away behind gates on a street where no cars are allowed. The lobby is majestic and bursting with ye oldy charm. However, the hotel where are the rooms are is... More

The hotel itself is ideally located near the centre. The building itself inside is beautiful and the staff are friendly and helpful. The beds are comfy and the rooms are well kept but we were situated at the back of the hotel where their is a live music venue, which plays music so loud that even earplugs are not enough... More
