While we were having breakfast (they write down the numers of rooms having breakfast) personel stole 2 (video)cameras and 2 ipods from a bag in our room wich was packed for ingapirca. The manager was an .... and did´nt accept any responsibilty and even dared to blame us. No compensation was offered, not even the night for free. From tourist info we heard that this had happened before in this hotel! So stay here on your own risk! more

The hotel is located in the central part of colonial Cuenca, 2 blocks away from the main plaza. 20$ a night gets you a private double. The rooms are well lit, basic but clean. Showers have good water pressure and hot water at any time of the day. Cable TV, free internet and a continental breakfast is included.

The staff are friendly and the hotel also offers other services such as tours, laundry, etc. more
