We stayed in a double room with bathroom for $24. The room was okay although bed not that comfortable. There were a number of draconian rules that were a bit mean spirited e.g. no drinks bought outside the hostel were allowed to be consumed in the communual area and no use of services such as wi-fi after check-out even if... I'm going to write the bottom line first: I would never stay here again. The neighborhood: seemed safe and quiet, but I didn't explore it at all except to buy a yogurt at the tienda across the street. Not near tourist stuff, so it seemed. Check in: I walk in the lobby to the welcome poo left on the floor... More

The hostel is ok (although it's better not to walk around at night). I did not have a good time there - I felt like my money was welcome but not me. They serve breakfast on the terrace for 2$ (1 croissant, scrambled eggs, fruit juice and tea/coffee). WiFi is available but very very slow from the room. There are... More

I stayed here for a week after filming a documentary in the Amazon. The staff were amazing and when I left, felt like I was leaving family. The price was extremely affordable and if I had friends going to Quito, I would highly recommend it! More

I stayed for four nights. My room was on second floor of the main building. The staff service was allways great. The WiFi was free and strong. There was allways hot water (you have to run it for 2 mins). My room could get quite noisy from the hallway. The $2.00 breakfast is well worth it. This is a good... More

$20 for a double room with private bathroom ($10 per person) $24 for a double room with private bathroom and WiFi ($10 per person) Firstly, don't bother paying the extra to have the WiFi in your room, it is not very good at all. We walked out of another hostal and into this one- the staff was so friendly and helpful. For exactly the same price as the other place's double room with no towels or bath, this place offered a lovely double ensuite, linens and towels, even a TV. Breakfast is just $2, and very generous- served on the rooftop. Pluses: Great Old... More
