We read about this hotel in the Budget Traveler (the magazine had booked their staff here) so we decided to move here after spending two horrific nights at the Chalet Suisse, Quito. It is a long time ago 1998 but if it has not changed hands and is still run by the same family it is quiet, comfortable and you are looked after. Was able to leave belongings there whilst away from it on a trip. Supply tea when you arrive back from a day out. Organised good restaurants and taxis for... more
