Located in a quiet area in Old City on what looks like a peaceful block. The hostel was in a good location. Close to a lot of major sites and good walking. The rooms were a little small but cozy. The beds were nice and comfortable. Plenty of blankets to keep warm. The rooftop terrace is increcible and the meals offered are excellent. The acoustics of the hostel are a down side. If people are awake in the lounge, the whole hostel is awake (I was two floors down in B2 which even has a separate lounge and door to further separate it from the main hostel, but still the noise carried).... I stayed in the Secret Garden and had a great time. Ofcourse there are always things you can say something about, like the water that wasn't always warm, but I loved my stay, met lot's of people, enjoyed the views and the food and I can honestly say it was a really good start of my trip in Ecuador!
