This was our first hotel in our two week trip to Ecuador. What a great introduction! It reminded me of old world charm. It was clean, the young people were all totally helpful and friendly, (even though not all the staff spoke English, whoever manned the front desk was always someone who did) the breakfast each morning even though always... We checked out yesterday after 3 nights at this hotel. The staff was very helpful and accommodating. It is located near some very good restaurants and parks. Fruit and eggs for breakfast each morning were included in the price. Dinners were available at a price but we never ate there. Computers and wifi were free. I would stay there again.... More

It was a nice hotel, nothing fancy but good basic accomodations. I really like the location. Internet connections in the room could be better but overall good value. More

I was in Quito on business last month (October 2011) for 5 days and enjoyed the experience of staying at Eugenia Hotel very much. After getting acclimated to the altitude (I reside in Florida at sea level) all went very well. Their front desk staff were all very professional, spoke perfect English, and guided me in my daily excursions around... More

We had a layover in Quito and needed a clean quality hotel . Robert sent a taxi for us when we arrived and had a taxi for us the next morning. Even though breakfast does not begin till 7am he arranged for juice and coffee for our early morning departure. There are many great restaurants within walking distance. To me... More

Unhelpful staff and poor quality. King rooms are very small. Beds hard. Intermitent hot water, and never when you want it. Stayed 2 times in 10 days because of prior booking. First arrival was greeted by nice young man who spoke English who assigned our room. When we got in room we wanted a hot shower after a day of... More

We stayed 2 nights on arrival to Quito. Taxi transport from the airport was arranged. Room was fine, with tons of storage space. Quiet, even being close to majour streets, and with a mostly booked hotel. Staff was pleasant and helpful. Close to the JW Marriott, and the one steak house we used the first night was terribly expensive, but... More

The hotel was fine for our purposes - one night at the beginning and at the end of our tour of the Galapagos. It is located conveniently close to the airport (short drive). The area itself is rather deserted and we had to walk a few block to find any restaurants open that were serving dinner. Staff was helpful and... More

I am leaving tomorrow morning early. I asked the receptionist if they could post a few postcards for me as they already had stamps on them and she said no. When I asked what I could do as I was leaving early she just shrugged and laughed. This was not because she didn´t have perfect english but she was simply... More
