They require a full day cancellation, including tax, if you cancel under 45 days prior to your trip. This is simply bad customer service and does not allow for any flexibility with travel. There are a number of hotels in the area which are just as nice and just as affordable. I travel frequently and was appalled. more

We too stayed here because it was part of GAP's tour, not because we picked it ourselves. This is my favorite place to stay at Quito. Staff is very friendly and they have some special weekend packages if you stay from friday to sunday. Another nice feature is the location of the hotel, near everything in Quito. The hotel's restaurant called "La Canoa" has very good service and delicious ecuadorian food, also the breakfast buffet is great.... more

We stayed a total of 4nights as part of a GAP trip. On our first visit we had rooms on the first and second floors, facing the main street - Rio Amazonas. Young travellers will appreciate that this hotel is right in the midst of the nighclub and restaurant area and the party (and traffic/horn honking) lasts until about 3am... more

Awesome place. Can walk straight down to Parque El Ejido and the big, fun art museum Museo Nacional del Banco Central. Near supermarkets and bakeries for snacks.
