We stayed here in march 2012 and had a lovely stay, the reception staff (Oliver) where very friendly and accommodating and always willing to assist and advise on things to do. The hotel is in a great location and close to most attractions in Porto Ayoro. The rooms where basic but comfortable, the air con worked well which was great... More

City Art Hotel is a terrific escape in the city of Quito. Not known for a glamourous atmosphere, Quito, Ecuador represents the majority of the country's poor population. “Your Home away from Home-City Art Hotel Silberstein”

I was told by locals that a taxi cab ride to the City Art Hotel Silberstein should cost about $3.50-$4.00. Beware of taxi drivers taking advantage of tourists (especially those that don't speak Spanish). The hotel is fairly close to the Quito airport 8-10 minutes.
