If you don't pay much then don't expect too much,It all looks well and good from the outside but in my opinion it goes down hill once you walk inside. The hostal Imperial is located in close proximity to the lively Mariscal area in Quito (3 minutes by foot). It offers everything the budget traveler could think of: clean and reasonably spacious 2-5 bed rooms for little money, high security and trustworthiness, hot and running water at all times, in short, everything the Western tourist would want.
