Very nice hotel. Located near the worldheritage old town. Everything on walking distance. Rooms are nice, but most of them don't have a window to the outside. Most open up to the indoor courtyard, which makes it difficult to get fresh air in. Especially since there is no aircon. A/C is not really needed since nights in Quito are quite... More

There is nothing wrong with this hotel, I only have good things to say. If you're in Quito as a tourist, you definitely want to be in the Centro Historico area. You benefit by being within walking distance of all of the beautiful churches and squares, as well as being close to La Ronda, which is a lively place on... More

The staff, other than one of the front-desk man, was very friendly. Housekeeping was great. Breakfasts are good. This is a lovely hotel, with a great location. However, we reserved a double room with a balcony. When we arrived, we were shown to a room with no balcony, and no exterior windows. I showed the front desk man specifically what... More

The first time around our experience with this hotel was extremely poor. We reserved accommodations for one night but when we arrived at around midnight were told that they don't have a room for us. We were advised to take a taxi down the street to another, lower standard hotel. We were back in Quito a few days later and... More

Our experience with the hotel started when our car didn't meet us at the airport as scheduled when we arrived, although I had called the day before to confirm both our reservation and our car pickup. We took a taxi, which wasn't a big deal, and arrived at the hotel in Quito at 9:30pm after a day's travel, with our... More

We had a great stay at the Plaza Sucre. The hotel is in a good location in the historical centre and has a security gate at the entrance, so it felt very secure. The local area felt reasonably safe, particularly as there are tourist/traffic police at almost every corner of the Centro Historico. It was just a few minutes’ walk... More

I booked here prior to a Galapagos trip as I wanted to be close to our departure hotel. The hotel is in an excellent location and was very quiet. Breakfast was served on the roof terrace with wonderful views of Quito. We were lucky as internet worked in our room although it was better when sat on the seats outside... More
