If you want a room to *SLEEP* that is probably not the place for you. We decided to stay here after our friends in Santiago couldn't host us in the first week of our stay in the city. We had the front room on the third floor, and there were always people ranging out at night, talking loudly, and smoking,... More

Myself and gf stayed here for a night in Feb 2012. Stayed in a private double. Nice room with cable tv, bath/shower and toilet. Loved the included dinner (Spagetthi Pesto Pasta) and a glass or two of wine. Had an awesome night, ended up partying the night away with the guys who ran the place in a local club with... More

we've been travelling LAtin America for five months now. We came across some beautiful hostels, unfortenally this wasn't ons of them. "Breakfast included" is a joke. I NEVER came across a hostel where you only got two little slices of bread, and the staff refused to give you any more. The "Free Supper" starts at nine. Don't come two minutes... More

We arranged for someone at the Hostel to pick us up from the airport and this service certainly made life very easy and Fernando was very welcoming and helpful! We had no problems checking in as the details of our booking were all on the system and correct. We had a simple but nice room with a small balcony with... More

I recommend this hostel only to those who enjoy being in company with few pretensions to cleanliness and comfort. In my room were dirty sheets used by others, as well as towels and it's very cold. Finally had a fight with the owner because we demanded that we pay for all expenses related to the payment by bank.

This hostel was fantastic. Free dinner Monday through Thursday and sometimes drinks were included, if not a glass of wine was 1000 pesos. The dorms and bathrooms were cleaned every day. The only downside about the bathroom was only one shower was functioning and there was no soap-- not a big deal if you know it and bring your own.... More

This hostel has a good location in an afluent, safe feeling neighbourhood. It's close to the metro (Salvador stop), shops and restaurants. There seems to be some issue with the name of the hostel and some sources call it Chilli and others Aji (possibly a legal/copywrite issue?) There's no sign whatsoever outside (it's a pink building.) The dorm was quite... More

My wife and I are traveling around the world and this is likely to be tops of the "worst places we stayed" list. We stayed (because we paid upon arrival) here for 7 nights. This place also is known as the AJI Hostel, likely had to change names to try to get people to forget how awful it is. Our... More
