After reading the reviews about this hotel we decided to upgrade to an executive room, which was very comfortable. This hotel is good value for money town centre and within walking distance of attractions. I highly recommend walking to Belle Vista which is full of nice restaurants and bars about 20 minute walk from hotel crossing the river.

I recently stayed at this hotel for two nights as part of anIntrepid trip.It is well located close to Salvador metro, with friendly staff and excellent breakfast. The rooms are however extremely small with a half bath located adjacent to and beyond the sink. It is difficult to get in and out of. Additionally the wc is crammed into a... More

LOCATION: I stayed here for 2 nights as part of an Intrepid tour. Whilst the location was quite pleasant, within walking distance of San Chrystobel, and with nice, quiet picturesque streets in the neighbourhood, it was not exactly central. Nevertheless it was close to the subway and therefore an easy trip to the centre of town, and it's also on... More

When you walk in the room, you havnt lost the toilet, it's just hidden behind the bathroom door! The rooms are small, very small, but it's a reasonable hotel for a one night stop over. If you don't speak much spanish, get a phrase book as we found the receiption staff didn't really understand much school girl spanish. They also... More

The rooms and bathrooms are really small like people say, but it's clean. The location is fantastic, very close to a subway station (only 5 minutes walk) in a safe and quiet neighborhood, . The staff is very friendly and helpfull and the restaurant is also very good.

We selected Hotel Tulip Inn after area in Santiago. It is situated in Providencia, quiet residential quarters close to the big avenues by the river. In a heavily polluted city like this, we felt the air was better as the surroundings were rather green. Nice English speaking staff, good buffet breakfast and free internet were plus values. But the rooms... More

This place was awful. The lobby and building look great but the rooms are just down right awful. They were small and dinge. I couldn't get out of there fast enough. I would never ever stay there again. And believe me I am not a picky traveler. But this place yuck.

We stayed in this hotel as part of a GAP Tour which was supposed to be a "comfort class" tour. This hotel was not in any way "comfort class" The room we had was extremely small with not even enough room for two pieces of luggage. The bathroom had a shower that you could barely turn around in. For some... More
