For American without spanish skills, this was sometimes challenging. Front desk staff, some spoke english, some did not, and so it was either easy...or hard. Location not too far out of town up a hill, so it's great for 15 minute walk if weather is nice, and you are not tired. But too far if either is true. Not near... More

We were shifted here after the Hotel Cumbres Patagonicas had overbooked their rooms. We had large, well-designed and very comfortable rooms on the top floor of the hotel, with truly marvellous views of the lake and surrounding mountains. Breakfasts were very good and overall the level of service was high.

I could not recommend the Hotel Puelche more. The room was huge with 2 big comfortable beds and a view over the lake to the volcanos. The bathroom was large and spotlessly clean.
