“Why did we stay here?”

I can't remember exactly why we booked this place (perhaps price) but it was terrible and not worth it if it was free. The location is seedy. The hotel locks the front door, and the "receptionist" needs to come and unlock when ever you arrive. In addition, there is some security disclaimer (in spanish) that they make you sign on... More

“Unattractive hotel in unattractive town”

Unless you have to be there in order to start a cruise from the ferry pier, Puerto Montt has nothing to offer to tourists. The Antupiren hotel has a strong sixties/seventies feel. Located in a somewhat drab but quiet environment. Check in was very slow, bureacratic and cumbersome. Got the idea that the receptionist did it for the first time.
