As a few other reviewers have pointed out, it does really need some money thrown at it. The place is looking a tad shabby and needs refurbishing. The Goodwood Park is an elegant hotel in the heart of Singapore. A Raffles-esque hotel but a lot cheaper at that. Its conveniently located on the Scotts/Orchard stretch, which makes it close to almost everything. The Orchard MRT station is just down the road and the shopping district is around the corner. We recently stayed in the suite facility at the Goodwood Park Hotel. The accomodations were split-level. The bedroom was upstairs at the entrance to the suite and the living/dining area, kitchen and bath were on the lower level. Bathroom was large, well lit and included a tub/shower.
