Stayed overnight on a tuesday night in a deluxe room on 5th floor. First impressions were good but it didn't take me too long before I realised its not going to be a good night. Great location, with large rooms and very friendly staff. This is an ideal hotel for shopping and exploring Orchard Road. It is above the MRT and across the road from the Ion building and next to Lucky Plaza so there are lots of options for food which you will probably want to explore as the hotel food prices are steep.... Location is fabulous but the foyer and hotel was full of crowds of people attending a sale for what appeared to be fake handbags. the hotel is situated in a nice section of town, and the rooms are very nice. We both stubbed our toes on the door jamb between the hallway and the bathroom. The rooms are over-priced, however.
