Very good staff and good facilities. Booked a private double room and the room had a small bed room with an adjacent empty room. Breakfast was quite a modest morning bread and coffee with butter and spreads. Quite a convenient location near the MRT and bus stop.
Don't bother with this place. The staff are arrogant and just plain rude. The facilities are terrible, and the rooms/entire place is unclean and unhygeinic.

Stayed in February 2012 in a private double room. The room was clean, but very basic (literally a double bed, A/C and a small writing table) but small, so it really wasn't a place we wished to spend any more time than we had to.
I think there is no-ensuite option, so we used the shared showers which were fine....

first the ups:
+ generally friendly staff, just don't expect any service
+ relatively convenient location
now the downs:
- horrible looking building, not very inviting
- ultra-small, dark, worn-down room
- just a bed, nothing else
- aircon has seen better days
- not exactly clean, but not filthy either...

I stayed here with a friend last year, and we got the twin room that is right next to the shared living area downstairs.
