My wife, our 5-year-old son and I went to Boracay for the first time on October 18 to 20, 2009 and we enjoyed our stay at Escondido Beach Resort. Although not a beach front hotel, the essentials that we need to make our short vacation on the island special were all provided. Clean deluxe room, friendly and courteous staff, safe... more

we went here with my friends just to try it out. first was the service, they served us pretty well from our arrival till our departure. we were served welcome drinks (i think it's a standard for their guests to be served with welcome drinks). the surroundings were clean. it was peaceful but no swimming pool. we stayed in the... more

Where do i start?. Well I Booked this trip for 2 to Boracay via PALakbayan. Where they have a list of resorts and hotels for you to choose from. Because this is our first trip to Boracay, we decided carefully not to overspend on hotel accomodation. (of course, for the reason that, we want to visit boracay for their white... more

We availed of our stay in Escondido on one of PAL's promo pacakages. It was a 3d & 2n's stay. Room and service were ok. Though they only served 2 pieces of bread, eggs, jam and fruit juice. It didn't really matter because there were a lot of restaurants you can go to that you'll enjoy near the resort. Btw,... more

Yes the staff was very accomodating, but that couldn't change the fact that the room smelled like it was aging or something, and after a few nights of sleep in the room, my wife and I ended up feeling really sick. The breakfast menu left a lot to be desired. But I'll be sure to try their crab house next... more

Me and my friends went here Oct 2007... we booked via PAL for 4d/3n.. cost us around PhP6K per person (this includes plane fare to Kalibo, land/sea transpo, and accommodation) pros: >recommended if you're going to spend most of your time outside the room >clean rooms and bathrooms >staffs are accommodating (well trained) >near station 1 cons >hard to get... more

Again, another overdue review. So this entry is submitted 3 months after I actually stayed at this hotel. I don't think that it affects the review at all - but I am placing it as a caveat nevertheless. Firstly, this hotel is not beachfont. It's not even streetfront. It is off a quasi-driveway, past someone's backyard. Without exaggeration, you practically... more

I just came from my 6-days trip from Boracay, Escondido's room is in good condition, the place is clean, food is average, and staffs are warm. I suggest you stay here at Escondido, although it's not beachfront, its just a merely 2-minute walk to the beach and it's peaceful at night. more

Got a good deal from this hotel. Very nice clean sheets changed everyday, very friendly staffs, breakfast is average. Its more than what I expected. We even had a room service massage, very affordable. I will surely be going back to this hotel. more

Stayed in this hotel in conjunction to Palakbayan promo of the Philippine Airlines. It is one of the cheapest packages so we decided to give it a try. This hotel is not on a beachfront location but is only about a 2 minute walk to the beach. The staff are all very courteous and helpful. They serve good breakfast. The... more
