Due to problems with my flights, i ended up arriving 12 hours later than my friends, but i still had a driver come to pick me up which was a good welcome. Not really wanting too much of a hassle holiday, we chose to go through the hotel for our day trips to Honda Bay and the Underground River -... More

It is nice to receive a constructive opinion such as this review. The food in the restaurant is prepared and cooked from scratch, it is not a Macdonalds. We do advise guests to try and order in advance. The issue of the wastebaskets in the bathrooms how now been resolved. Also the issue of waiting for a boat for island... More

This is in no way a "resort", it is more like a sub-1 star hotel and we wanted to leave after the first day but unfortunately we had already paid in advance through Agoda so it felt like we were in a prison. The owner no longer charges to use the "beach" or pool table but: 1. The owner rips... More

Wow! Long story. Bit more like a fairy tale though. When people want to crowd 5 adults in one room of course it will not be as comfortable. Their choice. If anyone can get a tricycle and shuttle van for 60/70 pesos I will give them the transport for free. We don't own the vans we just have an agreement... More

Just have to say, really good place.. After travelling through really crowded places, this is like heaven. First just rest for couple of days, then took well organized trips to the islands that were the most beatyful you can think. If you go to Palawan, i really recommend this one. Also when you have eat only rice for three months,... More

Small, intimate, rustic, water front, not touristy... These are the things we liked about Villa Leonora. We travelled 18 hours from Canada to Puerto to experience Palawan and this was a great first stop! Arthur picked us up from the airport and showed us some of his favourite sights along the way (a wonderful lookout stop, some fisherman mending their... More

Villa Leonora was the best hotel we stayed in during our stay in Palawan. Electricity all day long, hot water showers, comfy beds and no fleas. These are luxuries you appreciate when visiting the island. Arthur was a great help in providing info for the rest of our holidays. I absolutely recommend this resort when visiting Honda Bay.

After a long journey we finally arrived at Villa Leonora to a most welcoming host! The accomodation was lovely, very clean, lots of room with good food (if you like spicy food just ask), we did and it was one of the best Pork Adobo's we had throughout the 3 weeks in Palawan. Arthur had helped us arrange a visit... More

What an amazing find ! We experienced total relaxation in a beautiful setting - listening to the waves. Our wonderful hosts Arthur & Leonora offered more than we were expecting - warm welcome, comfortable beds, hot water, quiet and effective a/c, good bed linen. The food was excellent - all cooked to order with fresh local ingredients. Nothing was too... More

We spent 1 week at Villa Leonora early October. Since the very first moment we realized this was the place we were looking for: a warm welcome by Arthur and Leonora, the friendly owners, a very clean and tidy terrace, and a few meters away, the Sulu sea, with the constant pulse of the waves. Our 15-months daughter had a... More

Villa Leonora is a great place to stay when you like to escape from the hustle and busy life of the city. Its quiet and good located for a daytrip to the underground river, and they also offer activities like Island Hopping and going to beautiful waterfalls.
