Had a fab time at this hotel and do not have any negative aspects to report. We booked on a discount voucher site and got a very competitive rate, despite this we were pleasantly surprised to be upgraded to a deluxe room.

I spent my first night in Yogyakarta at the Phoenix Hotel. It is a serene and charming getaway from the crowded city. I would not recommend the breakfast as it is a little too pricey for what it is worth. But otherwise, I recommend this hotel for a family holiday, a firm / company retreat or a personal solitude experience....

I was very happy to be able to stay in Phoenix hotel in Jogja. The room was clean, quite big space. The amenities are complete. The staff are very helpful as well. After one day city tour, it was always nice to be able to return to our room which comfortable and clean. Feels like home.

It's very friendly, clean, easy to reach and fine.
The room is ok, but the background not really nice.
Its near from everything.
The internet connection not really easy to spot, and I have a bit trouble to find the strong signal to use the internet in this hotel. But the rest were fine.

we found Phoenix Hotel is amazing, it keeps a lot of history, the hotel itself is a museum. you can get an in-house tour by contacting the receptionist.
luckily we get a good deal from Accor member (stay 3 night, pay for 2 night) and yes it is a good deal :) only two minor issues, our room is not...
