The first impression when entering the hotel you will find a brand new hotel with a large enough lobby and a good architecture. Superior room size is good enough for five star. Unfortunately there is no bathup in superior room, even if other equipment is five star standard. We can sleep comfortably and room has a good soundproof. While living... More

First impression of this hotel is very nice....nice Lobby set up and choice of furniture and came to the room....very nice interior design, and i love Grand Aston Jogja's bed:). I don't have any idea for kind of food in Jogja as i don't like sweet food...just enjoy your meals here... Name it from the restaurant, vanilla sky lounge for... More

The hotel room was a decent size and bed was large and superbly comfortable. The hotel staffs were very helpful and courteous. Location of the hotel is about 15-20 mins away from the airport and has many restaurants nearby. I would definitely stay here again (no doubts) if I return to Jogjakarta for holiday. Excellent!

I stayed there from 19 Apr -22 Apr, I was debating between terrible and poor review, I decided to give a poor review just because most of the staff is very friendly but unfortunately inexperienced to resolve difficult situations. I prepaid my stay, arrived around 2-3pm for check in, they didn't find my reservation and asked me to seat and... More

Stayed 8 April to 11 April. Early checked in was allowed. Very happy. However, on second day, my bath mats was soaked in water, the housekeeping didn't change it. My room 800 was in front of lift and stairway to night club. Not recommended at all. Other than that was an excellent stay. Staff was very polite and helpful. Met... More

We were staying Grand Aston Jogya on Jan 31st, 2011 till Jan 2nd, 2012. It is a brand new hotel with a high quality standard especially for the room bed & linen. The room was clean with an excellent ambience and interior. Thumbs Up for Housekeeping Department for their effort to maintain our pleasant rest n enjoyment while our staying.

I stayed in a room facing Mt.Merapi and the room is very clean and luxurious. Very attentive service when we complain there was no wi-fi available in room. Fantastic spread for buffet breakfast, complete with a pleasant 'ibu' sitting on a platform mixing 'jamu' for guest. Small swimming pool but complete with deck chairs (some covered). Overall, very impressive hotel... More

This is a pretty new hotel and the rooms & public area looks great and the furnishing is modern yet sophisticated. However, as they are a new hotel, service wise needs improvement. No DND sign or Make Up Room available in the room, no stationary available, their room service menu is filled with mostly Western dishes despite majority of the... More

Thank you for your trusting our brand and sharing your feedback. You're right we just had the soft opening about a couple months ago. Our sincere apologies, the DND should have been available in the room, we will make sure the housekeeping checks every room to put the sign in. We actually don't provide stationary in the room as a... More
